Papai, a young musician in his 20s belongs from a well off family with uberly supportive and loving parents. One night after a show, while taking a stroll back home with his girlfriend Nilanjana, he his hit by a white SUV car.
In Their Life | E2
The white SUV belongs to Rajdeep Chatterjee, son of eminent politician Ranadeep Chatterjee. The aftermath of Papai’s death is felt as the band comes to a standstill. Papai’s mother visits a psychiatrist and Nilanjana moves in with Papai’s parents. Shome visits Papai’s father to come to an agreement in behalf of Rajdeep.

Papai’s father starts following Rajdeep but Rajdeep soon finds out that he is being followed. He mistakes Papai’s father for a spy sent by Ranadeep and confesses about the accident. Rajdeep is a sex maniac, alcoholic rich brat who does not regret his actions. Papai’s father buys a gun to kill Rajdeep.

Papai’s mother tries to get over the grief of Papai’s death and finally decides to join Papai’s band. Papai’s father on the other hand plans to kill Rajdeep on one hand but maintains cordiality with him as well. Rajdeep meets Nilanjana and he is smitten by her.

Nilanjana blames Papai’s father of being unaffected by his son’s death. Unable to handle bouts of anger and depression he goes to Rajdeep’s house to kill him. Papai’s mother performs with the band and it turns out to be a successful show.
